Your route today starts in Beek. After a beautiful meander through the idyllic scenic landscape you arrive in Didam, with the beautiful village church from the fifteenth century. Havezate De Luynhorst is located on the edge of Didam, a nice spot to take a break. There was a country house here as early as the fourteenth century. The current building looks more like a farm than a country estate. In the countryside it is wonderful to rack up the miles while driving on car-free roads between meadows and fields. You pass the flour mill at Nieuw-Wehl de Bernadette from 1861. Near junction 44 in Kilder you pass a hail cross: an old Catholic custom to ward off evil spirits so that the crops are not damaged by hail. You cycle back via Loerbeek.
