Bengelo Tour: Water and Wine

Your route starts at Spoolder Proeven & Proosten. Your walk takes you to the Hof van Twente vineyard in Bentelo. On an area of 5.5 hectares, divided over three locations, delicious quality wines are produced. In 2000, the first vines were planted and the wine cellar, winery and tasting room were built. In 2004, the first red and white wines won prizes at the first official Dutch wine tasting. The well-known varieties Regent, Johanniter, Solaris and Riesel are grown at the Hof van Twente. They don't add water to the wine here! This route does, but only in the literal sense: you walk a long way along the beautiful Hagmolenbeek. A wonderfully varied walking route through the beautiful coulisse landscape!
