Cycling route Voorst, Loenen and Beekbergen

In the IJsselvallei you cycle on car-free roads past grasslands and fields. It is wonderfully quiet here, ideal for clearing your head. Just past Loenen you cycle into the Veluwe. That means extensive forests where you can enjoy the fresh air. Just past junction 85 you pass L61. At this listening point you will learn more about the attack on SS General Hanss Rauter that took place here during the Second World War. Further on is a centuries-old inn where Napoleon Bonaparte and Marie Louise stayed in 1811. You cycle back to the IJsselvallei via Beekbergen. In Klarenbeek you pass De Hoop, an octagonal flour mill from 1905. Finally, you drive through the Appense Bos. At Koffie & Theehuis't Momentje you can enjoy a coffee and cake.
