Walking through the values at Voorst

From Voorst you can walk straight into Voorsterklei. Here you will find a beautiful cultural landscape of medieval dikes, extensive grasslands, dug watercourses and old hawthorn hedges. What is immediately noticeable: the tranquility. That makes this walk ideally suited for a day of relaxation. This area is popular with water and migratory birds, so bring binoculars. Just before you walk onto the Rammelwaardsdijk, you pass the Nijenbeek pumping station. Further on you will pass a number of beautiful old farms. From the IJsselstraat you follow part of the Hanzestedenpad. You walk along a former church path to the village church: a fifteenth-century pseudo-basilica with a twelfth-century tower. At Koffie & Theehuis't Momentje you can end this beautiful walking day with a lunch or high tea.
