From Voorst you can walk straight into the Voorsterklei. Here you will find a beautiful cultural landscape of medieval dikes, vast grasslands, dug waterways and old hawthorn hedges. What is immediately noticeable: the peace. That makes this walk ideal for a day of relaxation. This area is popular with water and migratory birds, so take binoculars with you. Just before you walk up the Rammelwaardsdijk, you pass the Nijenbeek pumping station. Further on you will pass a number of beautiful old farms. From the IJsselstraat you follow part of the Hanseatic Cities Trail. Over a former church path you walk to the village church: a fifteenth-century pseudo-basilica with a twelfth-century tower. At Koffie & Theehuis't Momentje you can end this beautiful day of walking with a lunch or high tea.
Below you will find various suggestions for breaks that you can visit during your route. These are divided into different categories, making it easy for you to choose.
