At the start of this walking route you immediately come across an attraction: the village church, a fifteenth-century pseudo-basilica with a twelfth-century tower. Further on you will also see some monumental buildings, such as the small hall church on Enkweg, which dates from 1880. De Zwaan is a flour mill that was completed in 1904. You walk along car-free roads past meadows and fields to the Appense Forest. This nature reserve is part of the Beekzicht Estate, established in 1820. You walk along the Voorsterbeek to Park Beekzicht. The country house was demolished in 1940 because the owner did not want the Germans to occupy it. Only the former toll booth still stands. On the other side of the road you will see De Adelaar, a centuries-old hall farm. The route ends at Koffie & Theehuis't Momentje.
Below you will find various suggestions for breaks that you can visit during your route. These are divided into different categories, making it easy for you to choose.
