The start and end point of this walking route is on the edge of the Brakelbos.
In the rolling Brakelbos you sometimes have to walk quite a bit, but you might spot some deer or squirrels, which are present in abundance here. The forest is known for its beautiful purple bluebells, which can be admired in full bloom in the second half of April.
The route also takes you through the Bois du Pottelberg - Pottelbergbos and passes the hamlet of D\\\'Hoppe, where you will find the Chapelle Saint-Christophe and numerous dining options. This is an ideal stopping point during the walk and can also serve as the start and end point of the route.
The Sassegembeek flows through the Brakelbos, so you will encounter various sources along the way, such as the Rietfonteintje. This walk offers a beautiful mix of nature, culture and relaxation.
Boots or sturdy footwear are recommended in rainy weather.
