Description
The route starts and ends at walking junction 11 in the centre of Sint-Laureins, an area best known for its polders, creeks and waterways.
At the start of this route you can admire the neoclassical Godshuis, the imposing neo-Gothic town hall from 1902 and the Sint-Laurentiuskerk. Then you continue the route along the artificial Leopoldkanaal.
On the way you pass the Bentillekreek and walk via the Sint-Jansstraat Bridge along the Boerenkreek. Then you come to the Blokkreek, where you walk from here to the foot ferry that you operate yourself to return to Sint-Laureins.
The route is fully signposted with hiking junctions.
