Description
This route starts and ends at hiking junction 1 at the Affligem Abbey.
You continue through the beautiful nature around Meldert with De Faluintjes and Molenbeek further the Kuipermeersbeek in the Kravaalbos you can imagine yourself in a fairy tale in the spring with the blooming of wood anemones and wild hyacinths. You pass along Park Landgoed Haelterman and in Meldert you see the Sint-Walburgakerk on the Putstraat.
On the way back to Affligem you walk through the Koudenbergbeekvallei nature reserve.
On wet rainy days, boots or sturdy shoes are recommended.
