Description
This route starts and ends at walking junction 20 in the center of Asse. You will pass the Gothic St. Martin's Church, which dates from the 13th to 17th centuries. You then pass two country houses: De Bergen Castle and Putberg Castle.
In the hamlet of Koudertaveerne, on the Kruisborreweg, you will come across seven chapels:
- St. Anthony's Chapel
- Our Lady of Neerwaver Chapel
- Our Lady of Lourdes Chapel
- Cross of Shat
- Saint Joseph's Chapel
- Our Lady of the Seven Sorrows Chapel
- Kruisborre Chapel
Further along the route is a country house with a small chapel on the Hoogpoort. Back in Asse you walk past the Boekfos playground and a brick water tower.
The route is fully signposted with hiking junctions.
