Description
This route starts and ends at walking junction 20 in the centre of Asse. You pass the Gothic Sint-Martinus church, which dates from the 13th to the 17th century. Then you pass two country houses: Kasteel De Bergen and Kasteel Putberg.
In the hamlet of Koudertaveerne, on the Kruisborreweg, you will come across seven chapels:
- St. Anthony's Chapel
- Our Lady of Neerwaver Chapel
- Our Lady of Lourdes Chapel
- Cross of Shat
- St. Joseph Chapel
- Chapel of Our Lady of Seven Sorrows
- Cross-borre chapel
Further along the route is a country house with a small chapel at the Hoogpoort. Back in Asse you walk past the Boekfos playground and a brick water tower.
