Description
The starting and ending point of this route is the Flemish Visitors Centre De Otter in Woumen. You will find information about the Blankaart nature reserve and the activities in and around the visitors centre.
The visitor centre is housed in the Blankaart castle, a beautiful location to start this walk.
There is the possibility to go on a guided excursion, take a guided evening walk or take a trip in the whisper boat to spot the many species of birds. On this route you will come across a lookout tower and in the Blankaartvijver a sculpture of an otter.
High boots and waterproof hiking boots are a must along this hiking trail.
