Description
The start and end point of this route is the Flemish Visitor Center De Otter in Woumen. You will find information about the Blankaart nature reserve and the activities in and around the visitor center.
The visitor center is housed in Blankaart Castle, a beautiful location to start this walk.
There is the option to go on an excursion with a guide, take a guided evening walk or take a trip in the whisper boat to spot the many species of birds. On this route you will come across a lookout tower and a sculpture of an otter in the Blankaart Pond.
High boots and waterproof walking shoes along this walking route are not an unnecessary luxury.
