Description
The Kanneroute starts and ends at a real eye-catcher: the Kanne suspension bridge over the Albert Canal, where you can park.
After crossing the bridge you will pass the Mergelgroeve van Kanne, also known as the Grotten van Kanne, which you can visit. Further on you will reach Eben-Emael, where you can visit the Fort, an underground military complex with 17 interconnected bunkers.
The route then takes you through the vast fields and rolling landscapes back to Kanne.
