Rupelmondse Creek Route

The route runs through the Polder of Kruibeke, Bazel and Rupelmonde and starts and ends in the centre of Bazel with the St. Peter's Church and the moated castle of Wissekerke as the main sights.

The Kruibeke polder is a flood plain, but the area is only really under water a few times a year. When the water retreats here, a rich world of fauna and flora appears with meadow and water birds, beavers and with a bit of luck otters.
