The Maas Valley Route

This walk starts at the car park in Stokkum and is largely on unpaved paths.

The route goes through the nature reserve Negenoord and along the hamlet of Boyen. The nature reserve has been transformed into these ponds by gravel extraction. Negenoord is a colorful patchwork of grasslands and forests. You will see water birds but you can also encounter traces of beavers and large grazers.
