Cycling route Den Bosch and Bommelerwaard

From Oud-Empel you cycle along the recreational lake De Noorderplas and De IJzeren Vrouw to the heart of Den Bosch. Here you drive past many monumental buildings, such as the centuries-old St. John's Cathedral. The 96 flying buttress statues are unique in the world. Also take a look at the Oude Markt, where you will see De Moriaan, the oldest brick house in the Netherlands. You cycle along the Ertveldplas and through the De Diezemonding nature reserve to the Maas. You cycle over the dike to 't Wellse Veerhuis where you can enjoy the view and a snack on the terrace. Then you cycle across the Island of Nederhemert, after which you arrive at the Afgedamde Maas de Gebr. You pass Remmerde, a hexagonal flour mill from 1716. Via Delwijnen and Hedel you drive to De Lachende Vis. Time for a terrace!
