In the countryside of Aalten you can enjoy a wonderfully peaceful walk on leafy paths through the bocage landscape. You start this route in the Loohuis, an old farm landscape consisting of meadows, hedgerows and Scots pine trees that are more than a hundred years old. From junction D30 you walk along a grass path along the babbling Keizersbeek. To the left of this stream is another watercourse: the Boven-Slinge. You walk along Walfortlaan. This path is still part of the centuries-old Walfort Estate. At the end of the path there is a beautiful monumental Saxon farm on the left. Just past the Z80 junction, Bredevoort Station was located from 1899 to 1934. This station was on the Winterswijk-Zevenaar line. The building was demolished in 1950. Your route ends with a delicious meal at the atmospheric Suzie\\\'s Farm.
