Cycling along the Meuse border in Limburg

From Stevensweert you explore the Maas valley: a region full of natural beauty and cultural history. In Ohe, for example, you pass the sixteenth-century Hasselholt castle. Just past Roosteren you cross the Maas, after which you end up in the Belgian Maaseik. Be sure to take a look at the old Market here, you will see many beautiful buildings there. Then you follow the Maas downstream, where you have a beautiful view over the rippling water and the meadows. You pass through Geistingen, after which you cycle along a lake that was created by gravel extraction. In the White Town of Thorn you seem to cycle back in time, after which you will also see some beautiful historical buildings in Wessem. You cross the Maas, via Maasbracht you cycle back to the cozy terrace of't Aod Kloaster.
