Walking through the Bedafse Bergen and the Sint Annabos

From the Timmershoeve - Group accommodation & Apartments you can walk straight into the beautiful countryside. First you walk into the Bedafse Bergen, an elongated nature reserve of 75 hectares. Here you will find a mix of drifting dunes, heathland and forests. An old cart track runs right through the heathland. In the past this was the shortest and therefore much used 'road' between Uden and Den Bosch. Now it is wonderfully quiet here, ideal for a day of relaxation. At junction 33 you walk into the Sint Annabos. In the soil of this reserve lies a crack that is millions of years old: the Peelrandbreuk. Along a stream colored orange-brown by iron you finally walk to the Leijgraaf, an old but canalized stream. The path can be damp here, so wear sturdy and waterproof walking shoes.
