Tour of Maashorst, Schaijk and Heesch

Between Uden and Schaijk you cycle through Nature Park De Maashorst. This green heart consists of quiet forests, heathlands, and grasslands that are intersected here and there by winding streams. A wonderful area to explore by bike, so that you can optimally enjoy the varied natural beauty and tranquility. You make a shortcut through Schaijk, after which you enter the next nature reserve: the Herperduin. This used to be a heath and drifting sand area, but at the end of the nineteenth century Scots pines were planted here to keep the drifting sand under control. You cycle through Heesch, after which you cycle on car-free roads through the rural landscape around Loosbroek. Here you will find a mix of fields, meadows, streams and small-scale forest. The route ends at the Timmershoeve - Group accommodation & Apartments.
