Walk Bergvennen and Rammelbeek

North of Denekamp you can take a varied walk near the border with Germany. The first part of this route takes you through the Bergvennen, a nature reserve located on a sand ridge between the river basins of the Vecht and the Dinkel. The landscape here consists of a mix of heath, forest, juniper thickets and fields rich in flowers and herbs. There are also some flow-through fens. By Dutch standards, this is a quiet nature reserve, ideal for clearing your head. During the second part of the route you walk on car-free roads past Saxon farms. Further on you walk on a grass path along the Rammelbeek, overlooking grasslands and fields. Here too you will experience the famous Twente tranquility. The route ends at Holiday Park Hofparken De Bergvennen.
