You will find plenty of natural beauty between Sittard and Brunssum. First you can relax in the forests of the Brunssummerheide and the nearby Heidserpark. Further on you cycle through the protected villagescape of Amstenrade, after which you drive a bit through the Geleenbeek valley. Brasserie Abshoven is located in an old church. A nice place to take a break while enjoying a snack and drink before driving via Geleen to the Sittard City Park. You can stop at the Markt to enjoy the historic atmosphere. After a shortcut through Germany, you will pass Raath Castle, a nobleman's house from 1804, in the Kruisstraat in Bingelrade. Finally, south of Schinveld you will drive through the Schutterspark, which was designed between 1920 and 1940.
