Tour of Goor and Diepenheim

You will experience a wonderful cycling day between Rijssen and Diepenheim. In this region you will find plenty of natural beauty and cultural history, such as several manors. First you can relax in the forests of the Brekelsveld and the Elsenerdveld, two former heathlands. In Goor you can take a look at the white-plastered Hofkerk. You cross the Twenthe Canal, after which you explore the area around Diepenheim. Here you will pass some beautiful country houses, such as Weldam and the Nijenhuis located a little further away. On the edge of Diepenheim you drive past the Johanneskerk from 1679. A little further on is Huis Diepenheim. Then you cycle a few kilometers through the agricultural area near Markelo. You will also get to experience a bit of the Borkeld nature reserve. The route ends at Buiteninn Het Overveen.
