Cycling through the nature around Rijssen

Around Rijssen you can cycle quietly through a varied landscape. During the first kilometers you will spend some time in the woods at the foot of the Noetselerberg. Then you cycle a bit through the Midden-Regge valley, after which you explore the Notterveld with its mosaic of fields, forest and heath. Then you drive along the edge of the Wierdense Veld nature reserve. After passing through Wierden, you cycle along the Exosche Aa, a watercourse on which the Dakhorst is located. This bird-rich nature reserve also serves as a water buffer. The Oosterhof is located on the edge of Rijssen. This centuries-old manor houses the Rijssens museum. Good news, because this means you can visit the building. The route ends with a coffee and snack at Buiteninn Het Overveen.
