Kids Stroll route

Want to go out with the kids? Then this short route is ideal. He takes you through Overtoom-Middelveen, a small-scale nature reserve. Where a few years ago corn was grown and cows strolled leisurely through the meadow, there are now approximately 150 hectares of wet grasslands. So make sure you have good walking shoes, so that the kids can stroll around without any worries. If necessary, take binoculars with you, because during your walk you can spot birds such as lapwings and godwits, but also spoonbills and meadow pipits. As a plant lover you will also get your money's worth here. Orchids and Parnassia grow there. You will also see buttercups, dandelions and different types of clovers: all plants that attract butterflies and insects. The route ends at Buiteninn Het Overveen. You can have a coffee here on Saturdays.
