Description
Your route starts at Pannenkoekenhuis Bolle Jan. Nearby you will find Denekamp, a beautiful old town that you cycle past on the way to Huis Singraven. In addition to the manor, this estate also features a centuries-old water mill, a coach house from 1868 and a number of tenant farms. Get off for a moment and enjoy the babbling Dinkel. The estate dates from the fourteenth century, the current country house from the seventeenth century. Close to the border with Germany, the Twente landscape is beautiful, wonderful to cycle through. The picturesque center of Ootmarsum has a protected villagescape, you will see many beautiful monumental buildings. You cycle back to your starting point via the manor of Noord Deurningen, now a monastery. This manor probably dates from the beginning of the thirteenth century.
