Description
The Dutch bulb fields are not limited to North Holland. Did you know that Flevoland has around 5,000 hectares of tulip fields? During the flowering season (which falls around April and the first weeks of May) you can enjoy a colourful sea of flowers from your saddle. During this period, various companies along the route open their doors to provide more information about the cultivation. But this route is also more than worth it outside the tulip season. You can enjoy a breath of fresh air in the vast polders. You also cycle through the Reve-Abbertbos where you will see a mix of deciduous and coniferous forest. During your bike ride, take a moment to reflect on the past: you will be cycling on the bottom of the former Zuiderzee. At Moellies it is time for a delicious meal.
