Description
The Dutch bulb fields are not limited to North Holland. Did you know that there are approximately 5,000 hectares of tulip fields on Flevoland? During the flowering season (which falls approximately in April and the first weeks of May) you can enjoy a colorful sea of flowers from the saddle. During this period, various companies along the route open their doors to provide more information about cultivation. But this route is also more than worthwhile outside the tulip season. You can get a breath of fresh air in the wide polders. You also cycle through the Reve-Abbertbos where you see a mix of deciduous and coniferous forest. During your bike ride, take a moment to reflect on the past: you are riding across the bottom of the former Zuiderzee. At Moellies it's time for a delicious meal.
