This route runs through a hilly landscape created in the last ice age, about 20,000 years ago. The ice moved back and forth at Ravnsby Bakker, creating these large hills and valleys.
The cycle route starts in the port town of Kragenaes, which connects Lolland with the islands of Fejo and Femo via ferries. From here the tour continues past the Dead Kalitten, a spectacular monument.
At Ravnsby Bakker you can see several large burial mounds and the remains of the old Ravnsborg castle built around the year 1330. In Vesterborg there is a beautiful village church.
Make a stop at one of the most famous burial mounds in Denmark, Kong Svends Hoj. The mound is approximately 21 meters long and 15 meters wide. The room in the hill is 12.5 meters long, making it the second longest in Denmark. Jaettestuen was built about 3200 years before our era.
