The beautiful scenic landscape around Oldenzaal

The landscape in Twente consists of small-scale scenic landscapes that alternate with lush nature reserves and estates with impressive country houses. No wonder Twente is so popular with cyclists! Near the town of Fleringen you cycle past the Fleringer Mill from 1846. In the heart of Tubbergen you pass the St. Pancratius Basilica with its stained glass windows and sixteenth-century tower. Time seems to have stood still in Ootmarsum. Step off for a moment to enjoy the characteristic atmosphere at your leisure. At the Dinkel you will pass one of the loveliest places in Twente: Singraven. The old water mill and the beautiful country house give this place extra charm. Oldenzaal is a former textile town, and there is also plenty of cultural history to experience here. The route ends on the terrace of Het Anker Bar & Food.
