Tour of Borne and Hengelo

Beautiful oak forests and avenues line the road to one of the most beautiful castles in the Netherlands. The picturesque town of Borne will also surprise you. The history of the town goes back to 1206, when it was first mentioned on an official deed. The name of Borne was then Burgunde. In Borne you will see the unique knock-down houses at Koppelsbrink 32-34. They date from 1786. In Deurningen you will see several authentic Saxon farms.
