Charming Doesburg
Rippling water, flowery grasslands, tranquility: you will find it all here. What a beautiful area to cycle in. Doesburg is located at the point where the Oude IJssel meets the Gelderse IJssel. It is one of the few Dutch cities that has been preserved so well. You will see monumental buildings and fortifications.

Postbank
You cycle past the recreation area Rhederlaag, a little later you pass the bird-rich Velperwaarden. Biljoen Castle was built around 1530 by Karel van Gelre, the duke of Gelre. After just a few years, he was forced to sell his luxurious home because of a lack of money. Louis the Fourteenth of France, among others, lived in this castle. One of the most beautiful places on your route is the almost 90 meters high Posbank. On this lateral moraine you have a magnificent view.
