From Aalst in Gelderland you can take a nice walk through the quiet countryside. As you walk along the Maasdijk, you will see some beautiful old monumental farms. What a nice atmosphere! You then walk into the vast polder with its vast grasslands, ditches and fields. The Eendenkade is a beautiful road to walk on. It is surrounded by many deciduous trees, between the trunks you have a beautiful view over the meadows and the high skies. The Drielse Wetering is on the right. Along the shore you can see beautiful reed collars swaying in the wind in some places. The drainage canal was dug out in 1320 by order of Count Reinald II van Gelre. The route ends at Bed and Breakfast Oan d\\\\\\\\\\\\'n Kikkerdijk.
