Refreshing 60-minute walking break VDV

Your route starts at Van der Valk Hotel Delft A4. From here you can take a nice tour through the polder. You will soon see the Schaapweimolen looming, a typical Dutch sight . There was a mill here as early as 1445, and in 1601 the Schaapweipolder got its own seesaw mill. It burned down in 1825, after which this mill was built a year later: a beautiful octagonal polder mill. Later a small stone house followed next to the mill, with a kitchen and washing facilities. The mill ditch was filled in by the Germans in 1944 for the construction of an anti-tank ditch. The mill is now standby in the drainage of the Hoek, Plaspoel, Schaapweipolder. On Saturday you can take a look for free, it's worth it! You walk back through the Hoekpolder Park.
