Tour of Bridges from Burgh Haamstede

The Oosterschelde is not the first thing you think of when planning a cycling tour. Wrongly, because it is beautiful to cycle around the banks. You cycle through Haamstede and Burgh, two villages worth seeing. Westerschouwen Forestry is the largest forest in Zeeland, it is wonderfully quiet here. You drive over the Oosterscheldekering, where you can visit Delta Park Neeltje Jans. You can also enjoy views over the Oosterschelde at Noord-Beveland. You then cycle through Colijnsplaat, via the Zeeland Bridge you drive back to Schouwen-Duiveland. Between Zierikzee and Serooskerke you pass the De Prunje nature reserve.
