This route leads you through the green heart of Friesland, located between the cities of Leeuwarden, Sneek, Bolsward, Franeker and Harlingen. You always get beautiful views and pass through all kinds of villages, with beautiful churches, old pubs, handball courts and sights. You pass various points to see or experience something special. The route is indicated with cycling junctions (note: it deviates slightly at Skrok and after Wiuwert/Mantgum), but is also beautiful for walkers. The start is in Wommels, but in principle you can start anywhere on the route, whatever suits you best.
