Route Heumen - Vogelzang via the Maasdijk

A route that runs via the Maasdijk through Vogelzang , that must be very special...

The route starts and ends at Wegrestaurant Malden . From there we walk towards the Maas. At the intersection, cross to Heumen and continue via the Maasbandijk. At the top we turn right over the Maasdijk.

A little further on on the right is the Steenkamp, a small lake. There is a path, but it is not clear whether it will be a mud path or not. The same applies to the next lake, the Erpewaai. A small detour has been planned there, hopefully it can be walked. And we can also get closer to the next lake via a path.

Then we leave the Maasdijk and continue via the Vogelzang (the area is also called that).

At the bottom of the dike (slightly to the right) sits Leo Gerritsen, who makes" Outdoor art". Perhaps there are some examples in the garden to put on the album (...?).

At the first road we can turn right and then walk to the N846. There we turn right (so again towards Heumen). We walk past" Rondje Ouwe Tractoren", but it is not clear whether we can see anything there.

We continue along the N846 and can cross the road at the Heegtseveldweg to continue on the other side of the N846. A little further on, the N846 turns left (back to the roadside restaurant for a cup of coffee or more...).
