Tour of Aachen and Sippenaeken

Your route starts at Hotel-Appartementen De Oude Hamer. This route takes you through the hilly border region near the Drielandenpunt, an area where not only three countries, but also three languages come together: Dutch, French and German. This was once a Four-Country Point: at the Three-Country Point, the paving that belonged to Neutral-Moresnet can still be seen in the pie slice. You cycle between the vineyards past Vijlen and Holset. Then you drive through beautiful old Aachen. The Belgian Preusbos is part of the larger Akenerbos in Germany. At Terbruggen you come across the Belgian side of the Geuldal. On the water is the Vieux Moulin, a former water mill that now has a residential function. In Sippenaeken you can admire the St. Lambertus Church from 1840.
