Description
Your route starts at Holiday Park Duinzicht. Behind Dishoek you will discover a beautiful piece of new nature, which runs like a strip behind the villages. Then you walk through the Nollebos, a nature reserve that was created in the 1930s on the site of the former Fort De Nolle. You can walk a bit through Vlissingen via parks and public gardens. You pass the Lion's Staircase: this monumental staircase was specially constructed in 1907 for bathers. You can then take a beautiful walk through the dunes between Dishoek and Vlissingen. On one side you look out over the sea, mighty ships sailing close to the coast. On the other hand, it is wonderfully quiet with numerous forests and nature reserves.
