Description
Your route starts at Holiday Park Duinzicht. Behind Dishoek you will discover a beautiful piece of new nature, which runs like a strip behind the villages. Then you walk through the Nollebos, a nature reserve that was created in the thirties of the last century on the site of the former Fort De Nolle. Via parks and public gardens you walk a bit through Vlissingen. You pass the Leeuwentrap: this monumental staircase was specially created in 1907 for bathers. Between Dishoek and Vlissingen you can then take a beautiful walk through the dunes. On one side you look out over the sea, mighty ships that sail right along the coast. On the other side it is wonderfully quiet with numerous forests and nature reserves.
