Description
You can enjoy a peaceful walk in and around the Brabant village of Esch. First you walk along the meadows to the Kleine Aa. If you look to the left at junction 49, you will see how the stream used to meander. However, the path leads you to the right, along the bank, which was canalized in 1949. It is nice and quiet here to walk along the rippling water. Further on, the Kleine Aa flows into the Essche Stroom. After a few hundred meters you walk into the village of Esch. You will see some beautiful old buildings here, after which the route will take you along the water again. East of Esch you can stroll leisurely past meadows and fields. Hungry from walking? Luckily, the route ends at Gasterij Hotel Dennenoord.
