Description
First you cycle a bit through the forests of the Kampina. It is nice and quiet here, so you can immediately switch back and enjoy nature with attention. In the village of Haaren you will pass the Old Tower from 1472. The nave of the church collapsed in 1780, the last remains were demolished in 1853. Via the nature reserve de Leemkuilen you cycle to the National Park Loonse & Drunense Duinen. In the middle of the forest you come through Giersbergen, a charming village where several centuries-old farms still stand. The last part of your route you cycle through the IJzeren Man and the Kapellebos estate.
