The Gulpdal is ideal for a nice walk. From the hilltops you have beautiful views over the South Limburg hills. And along the meandering Gulp you seem to walk back in time.
Gulpener Hop Garden
From Euverem you quickly make a climb. A beautiful view of the Gulpdal opens up on the left. On the right you walk past the Gulpener Hoptuin. In Reijmerstok you will see De Puthof, an impressive monumental mansion from the seventeenth century. You will also see several different old half-timbered houses in the landscape. For example, at Kampsweg 66 and 76 in Pesaken there are two monumental eighteenth-century half-timbered farms.
Groenendaalsmolen
It can be wonderfully quiet in the Gulpdal. Walking along the rippling water, it is not difficult to forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life. You pass the Groenendaalsmolen, a former water mill from 1850. Where corn used to be ground, the wheel now stands still: the mill only serves as a home. On the other side of the Gulp is a large nineteenth-century farm, this is the former Groenendaal Castle.
Below you will find various suggestions for breaks that you can visit during your route. These are divided into different categories, making it easy for you to choose.
