The beautiful surroundings of Dalfsen

Your cycling route starts at Camping De Koeksebelt. To junction 73 you drive along the old church path between Giethmen and Ommen. In the past, the residents of Giethmen walked along this path to church twice every Sunday. They crossed the river Regge via the charming drawbridge, an icon. A little later you drive through the coniferous and deciduous forests of the Rechtense Veld. On the edge of Dalfsen you pass the Leemcule, an estate from the fifteenth century. The original castle was demolished in the nineteenth century. Instead, the building, which dates from the eighteenth century, has been converted into a chic residential home. In Vilsteren you see many beautiful houses and farms. A little later you will pass De Stokte, a 20-meter high lookout tower.
