Beautiful cycling around Lemele

You can take beautiful varied bike rides around the village of Lemele. You first drive past the Archemerberg and Lemelerberg, a rolling nature reserve with extensive silent forests and heathlands. Then you cross to the Regge, a river that forms the border between Salland and Twente, located on the right bank. In the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, people still regularly sailed on the Regge with so-called zompen. Time seems to have stood still in the valley. Here you cycle on winding roads past green meadows and old Saxon farms. You will also pass the former manor of Egede where you will see an eighteenth-century building.
