Tour of Bussloo Wilpse Klei

Enjoy sun, wind and water & delicious fresh from the region! Grab your bike and experience the green IJsselvallei, a vast area between the forests of the Hoge Veluwe and the river IJssel, with Lake Bussloo in the heart of the region.

Along the way, taste the delicacies that the region has to offer. Local residents have created three cycling routes for you, which, like the IJssel river, meander through the beautiful landscape. There are many fun and tasty treats to enjoy along the way. There is a route for cyclists from Apeldoorn, Deventer and a route from Zutphen. The routes are on average 45 km long. You can of course also combine them and cycle a longer route.

From the hustle and bustle of Deventer you cycle along the IJssel towards Zutphen. The route takes you past surprising places. From a city beach to a tea garden with wild flowers to a cafe on the water or on a farmyard. From higher-lying dikes with beautiful farms to lower-lying forests and fens. Don't forget baker Bril on the roundabout in Voorst. The sixth generation bakes currant bread and cookies there. Have fun!

Take a trip to:

Erve Trees. At the end of Achter't Holthuis, turn right at the T-junction and continue to follow Achter't Holthuis, you will then see Erve Trees on your right in the meadows.

De Elshof Farm/Melktap Wilp. At junction 11, turn right onto Zwarte Kolkstraat, you will find Boerderij de Elshof/Melktap Wilp at number 22.

Baker Glasses. At junction 5, cross the Rijkstraatweg and turn left, cycle to the roundabout and take the 3rd exit on the right back to the Rijksstraatweg to Bakker Bril.

Welgelegen dairy farm. On the way from junction 33 to junction 35 you will find Melkveebedrijf Welgelegen at Voorsterklei no. 4.
