Tour of Little Holland in Germany

Your route starts at Jagersrust. After a cup of coffee, you put on your walking shoes. You are in the middle of the forest here, in the area you can walk through the various nature reserves that together form the Maasduinen National Park. The Maasduinen is a terraced landscape on an elongated, high sand ridge between the Maas and the German border. It consists of lower and higher sandy soils, the Maas valley and a plateau. You will discover how close Germany is with this route. Just behind the hamlet of Hanik you walk parallel to the border for a while. A little further on you come across a street with the telling name Klein Holland. You walk back to the border, which you follow for a while again, and then you dive back into the Netherlands and the Maasduinen.
