Bussum to Hilversum via Huizen and Laren

Take the train to Bussum-Naarden. Look over your shoulder at the beautiful station, the first Dutch suburban train station , designed by architect Schelling in 1925. Then quickly into nature through beautiful suburbs. You pass the wealth of the Gooi, cycle briefly along the Gooimeer and then end up in the industrial district of Huizen. Via Huizen (well signposted) and Laren onto the modest moors to arrive at Crailoo in Hilversum via the wildlife bridge (Ecoduct). If there is energy left, you can cycle (or walk) the 8 km route that takes you past the various Dudok designs, culminating, of course, in the Dudok town hall . There is also a Dudok architecture center, but it is not always open. So check in advance. Then take the train back home.
