Round Koekange via Berghuizen

Your route starts at Welgelegen Estate in Koekange. Koekange is a peat extraction site from the Middle Ages, in Echtenerveen. The route takes you past the regional addresses Het Groene Geschenk and Buitengoed Weerwille, be sure to pause here to take a look around. At The Green Gift you will find a Tree Nursery, Barefoot Path and a candle recycling with home & gift shop. Buitengoed Weerwille is the first Pitch & Putt course in the Netherlands. As an extension of the Herenboerderij Lange Tieme, the 18-hole course is beautifully embedded in the landscape. A nice place also for coffee and cake. Take some time to enjoy your starting point at Landgoed Welgelegen, a nice B&B where you can also drink coffee and take a look at the Tin Museum.
