Get off at Theme Park Open Air Museum'De Spitkeet\\\'. Spitkeet is another word for turf hut. In the open-air museum and theme park you can experience how people lived and worked on the Frisian and Groningen heaths in the period 1850-1950. The church of Augustinusga was built in the 15th century in honor of Saint Augustine. The church was founded by the Cistercians of Gerkesklooster.
