Description
Lovely round of Texel. In nature reserve Burg en Waal (Natuurmonumenten) observation of Hen and Marsh Harrier. In addition to Kestrel and Buzzard, the latter of which several beautiful specimens (almost completely white) and beautiful brown red.
Certainly the first part (our turning point) suitable for spotting the Bittern (Unfortunately we did not see it)
From Burg en Waal along the cornfields to continue via half heath half dune towards De Koog. After De Koog (don't forget to have lunch at restaurant Taveerne in the Dorpstraat) we cycled through the forest past Ecomare (where you can easily spend half a day) back to the camping site T Woutershok on the Rozendijk in Den Burg.
