Tour of Nijmegen, Groesbeek and Kranenburg

Your route starts at Van der Valk Hotel Nijmegen-Lent. You drive through Park Lingezegen to the dike along the Waal and the floodplains. On the other side of the Waal you will discover the Millingerwaard, a beautiful rugged nature reserve where you can get a breath of fresh air and enjoy the silence. Then you drive to the German nature reserve Kellener Altrhein, the well-preserved parts of the almost natural old arm of the Rhine. On the other side of the pleasant village of Groesbeek you continue cycling through the Groesbeek Forests. You pass the edge of the Mulderskop: within the Groesbeek forestry, this is the only remnant of the heath that used to be here. At the Heilig Landstichting you will find Museum Park Orientalis, the former Biblical Open Air Museum.
