Round trip to Center Ommen

Your route starts at Camping De Kleine Wolf. The Vechtdal consists of beautiful green nature reserves through which the Vecht flows straight. During this route you cycle through the extensive forests around Ommen. The small town of Ommen is fun to visit. The city has an attractive historic center, where you can enjoy shopping or sit on a terrace. You pass close to the Junner Koeland, an area of 100 hectares where approximately 60 cows live. Be sure to get off here! The grazing by the cows is not sufficient here and that is why about 15 Icelandic horses can be found regularly. You cross the Vecht again at the fish ladders, which allow fish to swim freely up and down the river along the weir.
