Grebbelinie ranger trail

In the Grebbe Line, nature and the traces of war history are closely intertwined. The walk across the former defense line starts at restaurant De Dennen. Cross the road and go onto the dike with trees. You cross the Lunterse Beek. At the intersection of the stream and the dike, the Werk aan den Engelaar was created in 1799, a work of high ramparts with canals. Cross the road and go straight ahead (yellow/red NS).
