Between Stegeren and Junne you have the fish ladders at the weir, which is a nice point to stop for a while.

Afterwards you can buy delicious honey in Junne de Mr. Vogelzang and enjoy the beautiful flower garden.

After Junne it is just a short bike ride along the railway to Ommen.

In Omen itself you can of course stop for an ice cream, a juice or a delicious sandwich at Sis & Bro. After this you go towards Varsen and pass the poultry company Vechtdal Eieren, which is definitely worth a stop. Here, 25,000 chickens roam free and you can of course buy farm-fresh eggs.

After Varsen you will come across the stork's nest at junction 65 and if you are lucky you will see the storks sitting or flying.

After junction 61 you arrive at the lock and on a sunny day they are probably busy getting the boats through the lock. Fish ladders can also be seen at the weir in front of the lock.

After the lock you go via Vilsteren back to Ommen where you can do your shopping on the way back to the campsite. 

From Ommen you drive towards Arriën where you can continue to the roundabout before you turn off towards junction 43 to buy fresh strawberry bees. 

We drove from this point via the Coevordenseweg to junction 52 and went back to the campsite.
